Sew On & So Forth is a creative embroidery business originated by my husband and me, Mike & Lisa Johns. We specialize in adding that personal touch to our unique collection of items. With a variety of products to choose from including (but certainly not limited to) shirts, hats, bags, beach towels, backpacks, CD cases, and children’s clothing… just use your imagination! We do all of our work in our home. If you are located in the Upstate area of South Carolina, please call and we can set up an appointment for a full design consultation. We just ask that you use our driveway so as not to block traffic on the street. The Simpsonville Police Department has been known to ticket vehicles parked improperly on the street, and we also have to be mindful of traffic flow on our street, so please use our driveway to park. If it is not convenient or possible to come here, we can do an email consultation. This will take a bit longer, but we can still create that special custom gift.

Even though we operate out of our home, we still operate on modern, commercial grade equipment and software. Since we do operate out of our home, we don’t have the same overhead and we can pass those savings on to you. 

In 2001 we purchased a home embroidery machine as a way to create unique gifts for friends and family.  In no time at all, people were wanting me to make gifts for them as well, and a business was born.  In 2003 we finally had to retire our home embroidery machine and go commercial. We now offer over 8,000 stock designs and the unlimited ability to digitize nearly any type of logo or design with the main limitation that we can not reproduce copyrighted designs without written permission from the owner.
